photos of Stephen Jewett: specimens from Aleutian Islands, North Pacific
We had no chance to examine this large and very soft anemone, but its whole exterior is in a close agreement with recently published description of the specimens of Ptychodactis patula from North Pacific, so, we think that the specimens on the photos possibly belong to this species.
