Parazoanthus anguicomus forms dense colonies of rather large zooids. The tentacles are more numerous than in other common European species, typically 40-42 in number, a feature that may be used to distinguish this species. Parazoanthus dixoni and Parazoanthus haddoni are synonyms of this species. Parazoanthus anguicomus distributed in north-east Atlantic.
