The genus Edwardsia comprises many (about 50) species which live buried in the sediment. In 2015 we described a new species of Edwardsia from Antarctic peninsula, Edwardsia inachi. The species is rather robust (for Edwardsia) and may be distinguished in the field by numerous ochre-brown papillae cowering the body, but this feature is seen only on collected specimens, while on the underwater photos only the disc with the tentacles is visible. Currently this species is known only from King George Island (Antarctica) from the deepts about 7-10 m.
