Entacmaea quadricolor, a large warm-water species often inhabited by anemonfishes has the tentacles characteristically expanded at their ends and in most cases can be readily identified on underwater photos. According to England (1987) this species has more affinity with the family Stichodactylidae than with the Actiniidae.
