This interesting species is probably always attached to a gastropode snail. The snail on the present photo is identified as Harpovoluta charcoti, in other cases, according to literature data, the snail has been identified as Provocator sp. or Provocator corderoi. Isosicyonis alba occurs in Antarctic (in particular at the north of Antarctic Peninsula) and in southern Atlantic and South Chile.
